Endangered animals

The Iberian lynx is a critically endangered species of felid living mainly in the Iberian Peninsula. They are categorized as critically endangered by many institutions, including the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

The Iberian lynx portrays many of the typical characteristics of lynxes, such as tufted ears, long legs, short tail, and a ruff of fur that resembles a "beard".

Only about 220 copies are threatened by the destruction and alteration of habitat, direct mortality caused by gunshots, bonds, stocks and more recently the abuses because of uncontrolled development of roads in sensitive places.
