"Monuments in danger"


The Statue of Liberty in New York is in danger. About 3.5 million people visit this famous monument every year. Unfortunately, this monument may sink within 2000 years due to rising sea level. This is caused by climate change which increases the ascents of the sea. Authorities are trying to reduce global warming to avoid it.
